Day 1 : LISBONArrival to the hotel on your own. Dinner and accommodation in Lisbon Day 2: LISBON - FATIMA Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel and panoramic sightseeing tour of the Portugal’s capital city. Where we will visit the oldest quarter of Lisbon and the monumental district of Belem Tower, the monument of the discoveries and Jeronimos church. We continue to Fatima one of the most famous Marian shrines in Europe. Our guide will show you this pilgrim village including the Capelinha and the Basilica. Dinner and accommodation.Day 3: FATIMA – PORTO – PONTEVEDRA - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA Breakfast. Departure to Porto where you will have a visit to a typicalwine cellar. Free time for lunch. Trip to Pontevedra where you will visit the basilica of Santa Maria la Mayor, one of the jewels in the crown of Galician Gothic architecture. To the left of the south doorway lies a sculpture of the Christ of Safe Journeys. Afterwards we continue to Santiago de Compostela. Dinner and accommodation. |

Day 4: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA Breakfast. Half day city tour to Santiago de Compostela. The legend tells that the appearance of the remains of the Apostle Saint James were the origin of this city (9th C.), which soon became a centre for pilgrimages and a holy city on a par with Jerusalem and Rome. Medieval Santiago experienced centuries of scientific, artistic and literary interchange thanks to the large numbers of pilgrims arriving from all over Europe. The Pilgrim's Route to Santiago, together with the city of Santiago of Compostela, is today a World Heritage Site because of the historic and artistic nature of the route. We will visit the Plaza del Obradoiro which has important monuments, including the Cathedral of Saint James. Its current Baroque façade gives way to a Romanesque doorway from the original building, the Pórtico de la Gloria, created by Master Mateo in the 12th century, Archbishop’s Palace and the Rajoy Palace. We also walk the oldest streets of the city, which date from the 12th century - Rúas Franco, Vilar and Nova. Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodation.Day 5 : SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – LEÓN - BURGOSBreakfast . Departure to León where you will visit the famous cathedral and the Parador. The Parador was used as a hospital for the pilgrims on the Road to Santiago de Compostela. That is why some of the statues that appear on the Plateresque-style façade of the Convent of San Marcos, and some medallions, represent Jacobean motifs. The convent church has a Latin cross plan. The sacristy, the work of Juan de Badajoz el Mozo, has 3 starred vaults. The cathedral of Leon has undergone successive restorations over the centuries in which a number of famous architects have participated. Afterwards we follow our trip to Burgos, the historic capital of Old Castille. Dinner and accommodation.Day 6: BURGOS – PAMPLONA - LOURDES Breakfast. Visit to Burgos. Its cathedral is outstanding for the elegance and harmony of its architecture, and it is the only one in Spain which, for its cathedral building alone, has received the UNESCO World Heritage designation. We continue to Pamplona where we will have a short visit of the city and the Cathedral, It was begun by Carlos el Noble in the year 1397 on the site of a 12th century Romanesque building and was finished in 1472. The main altar is presided over by the Virgen del Sagrario, which was the image opposite which the kings were sworn in.. Continue to Lourdes. Arrival to the shrine of Lourdes in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation. Day 7: LOURDES – LERIDA - BARCELONABreakfast. Visit of Lourdes in a walking tour its receives more than 5 million visitors from all over the world every year. Spirituality, whether belonging to history, is part of the present through the depth and beauty of the sight, the marks of the past, the serenity of the Sanctuaries.. We follow the trip to Barcelona with a short stop in Lerida for lunch (not included). Dinner and accommodation in Barcelona.Day 8: BARCELONA Breakfast. City tour to Barcelona and transfer to the airport.
