Day 1 - October Wednesday 8^th

Arrive in Paris. Transfer from airport to hotel. Check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, meet your travel escort and your fellow travelers for a welcome cocktail in the hotel, where you will be briefed on your tour program of tomorrow. Dinner at leisure to enjoy one of the hotel's nearby typically Parisian restaurants.

Day 2 - October Thursday 9^th

After breakfast . Your escort and bus driver will pick you up for a 1/2 day City tour of Paris. View the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triumph, the Opera and la Madeleine, St Germain, the Latin Quarter, visit the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame and end your tour with a pleasant cruise on the Seine River. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure for further sightseeing on your own.

Meet the group again at the end of the afternoon in the lobby of hotel and transfer to the most Parisian of the great cabarets, the Paradis Latin and enjoy an amazing dinner show. (B, D)

Day 3 - October Friday 10^th

After breakfast, depart by bus for Normandy. On our way, we'll make a stop in the village of Giverny to visit Monet's House and its beautiful gardens. Then, head towards Deauville, lady of the French coast, whose most glamorous seaside resort, symbolizes elegance, prestige and sophistication. Evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 4 - October Saturday 11^th

After Breakfast we'll leave Deauville and travel to Honfleur. On our way, we'll stop for a visit at the Manoir d'Apreval to discover the secrets that

go into making cider and Calvados, and enjoy a tasting of those specialties drinks of Normandy. Then stroll at leisure in the charming Honfleur harbor and take advantage of one of Honfleur's cozy restaurant to taste Normand cooking. After lunch, we'll drive to the medieval town of Bayeux. Arrive in Bayeux, and after checking into our hotel we will visit the world famous Tapestry. Rest of the afternoon at leisure before meeting the group again for dinner. (B, D)

Day 5 - October Sunday 12^th

Full day dedicated to the Landing of June 6, 1944.

Arromanches Museum, and the Landing Beaches and the American Cemetery. Evening and dinner at leisure in Bayeux. (B, L)

Day 6 - October Monday 13^th

After breakfast we will head to the Mont St Michel. On the way, we'll make a stop in Villedieu-les-Poeles, the copper city, where we will visit the traditional bell foundry and walk around the town with its numerous stores of copper. After our lunch, we'll travel to the Mont St Michel. Check into the hotel and visit the Abbey. Dinner at the world-known restaurant, La Mère Poulard. (B, L, D)

Day 7 - October Tuesday 14th

After B'fast we will board our motorcoach to the Loire Valley. Upon arrival in Villandry we will enjoy a country style lunch in an unusual inn, surrounded by flowers. After lunch, we will take our leave towards Tours. On the Way we'll stop at the Chateau de Villandry to discover its magnificent gardens and visit this historical castle. Upon arrival in Tours, check into the hotel and take the rest of the day to relax. Dinner at leisure. (B, L)

Day 8 - October Wednesday 15^th

B'fast and off to a visit of the castle of Chenonceau or (Chambord)

lunch in the castle 's vicinity. After lunch we will enjoy a tasting of the Loire Valley wines at a local wine maker. Return to Paris, check into our hotel, evening and dinner at leisure. Overnight at the hotel Ampere. (B, L)
