The Thoronet Abbey
Along with its 'sister houses' at Silvacane and Sénanque, The Abbey of Le Thoronet is one of the three wonders of Cistercian architecture in Provence. This abbey was built in the 12th century by the Cistercians at the centre of an immense oak forest. Pride of the Provençal Roman architecture, it has stone and light as its only ornements.

Sainte Roseline Chapel
This place of worship is a real work of art, but above all it is a renowned pilgrimage site. Since 1329 it has harboured the venerated saint's body, which is dressed in priestly clothes and laid to rest in a glass case. Many great artists have celebrated the life of Saint Roseline : Marc CHAGALL, with an remarkable mosaic representing the Angel's Meal.
