Set in the heart of a
5-hectare (2 1/2-acre) park crossed by its own stream and situated on
the banks of the Saône, the Château de Rigny offers 29 bedrooms in the
Château, the Pavilion and the Magnanerie. Each in its category provides
a perfect synthesis of antique charm and modern comfort.
Each bedroom in the hotel is different but they are all equally charming. Their décor and period furniture, their quiet and coziness, all create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
Enjoy being cocooned in the
elegant drawing rooms or in the warmth of the open fireplaces in the
magnificent halls on chilly autumn and winter days, or basking in the
sunshine on the terrace in the summer.
Under the beams of it typical French ceiling (plafond à la française) and its Louis XVI paneling, authentic French dishes based on seasonal products are served, allying local tradition and classical cuisine.
In summer, the shaded terrace overlooking the park and the Soâne is ideal for open-air breakfasts serenaded by birdsong.
There is an open-air, heated swimming pool and a tennis court in the grounds of the Château.
Outside there is cycle track on the banks of the Soâne, and fishing and rambling are possible in the picturesque surrounding countryside.
