Chateau des Tertres is an elegant home from the period of Napoleon III. It is surrounded by 5 hectares of beautifully maintained grounds that are particularly impressive when the cyclamens are in bloom.

This authentic and privileged place has maintained its magnificence thanks to its beautiful garden and 5 hectare park. Amidst the garden, one can try a selection of Loire Valley wines or enjoy a tea on the terrace overlooking the garden.

The surrounding park, planted with rare plants, is a sanctuary for deer that you might have the chance to see from time to time.

For the sport minded, there are bicycles available free of charge, plus local maps and route suggestions.
It's possible to ride over to the Annual Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire, 5 km away, for a visit, or take the side roads to the festival for a more scenic option and discover the wine appellation of "Touraine Mesland" along your way.

The château des Tertres invites you to one of two atmospheres : a classical period feel in the castle and a tasteful contemporary feel in the pavilion.

All 14 bedrooms in the castle are renovated every year. They are fitted with period furniture, beautiful draping and pleasant en-suite bathrooms where varnished exotic wood and chrome provide beauty, comfort and practicality.

Situated 50 meters from the main building, the pavilion is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The bedrooms, perfect for families, have been decorated by the owner himself, demonstrating all his artistic talents: creative lampshades, conceptual yet poetic pictures, hi-fi stereo, beautiful furniture. Ideal to enjoy the quiet gentility of one of the most beautiful parts of the World.
