QUICK GLANCE Day 1 Pick up your car rental in Paris and drive to Vouvray in the Heart of Chateau Country also famous for its wine. (approx. 2 Hours form Paris). Start your discovery of the Loire Valley with the visit of a wine cellar to include a wine tasting. Then as a first introduction to the Loire Valley Castles, drive to Amboise, one of the oldest and most alive town of Val de Loire. (East of Tours). Visit the Royal Castle of Amboise, built in the 15th and 16th centuries on Charles VIII, Louis XII and Francois 1st' orders. You will be amazed by the panoramic gardens overhanging above the city. Then check in to your hotel The Domaine des Bidaudières. |

Day 2 Today, go for a visit of the Chateau of Blois. In the afternoon drive to the Castle of Chambord, the fascinating castle of the Loire which still keeps some of its mysteries more than 4 centuries after it was built. You can also enjoy a walk in the castle's beautiful park. For Lunch you may want to try Bernard Robin's gastronomic restaurant located in the town of Bracieux. Bernard Robin, one of France most famous chefs offers superb regional cuisine. After lunch drive to the Castle of Cheverny the most elegant Castle of the Loire Valley. The castle still host a hunt twice a week in the winter, make sure to visit the kennel where 70 hounds patiently await their 5:00PM diner. Don't miss the trophy room where 2000 pairs of antlers hang from the ceilings and walls. Return to the Domaine des Bidaudieres.
Day 3 After your breakfast check out from Domaine des Bidaudières and drive to the castle of Chenonceau, the loveliest of all the Loire Valley's castles. This castle was transformed several times over the years from a manor and water mill to a Grand Palace designed for pleasure. Don't forget to visit the wax museum of the castle retracing its history. Take a ride on the little train down the tree lined drive, and enjoy the lunch in the old stable before heading back to Paris.
