Château Soussac is a magnificent 19th century chateau and vineyard in Entre Deux Mers and just 30 minutes from St. Emilion, 40 minutes from Sauternes and an hour from Bordeaux and Bergerac airports.

There is a pretty lake and a stunning lakeside pagoda, reached by foot bridge, where guests can enjoy an aperitif as they watch the sun go down over the vineyards of Entre Deux Mers. In the garden there is a large swimming pool and an orchard planted with peach, cherry and pear trees. Guests can wander through the park and gardens, and tour the vineyard. Château Soussac is in the pretty village of Soussac, just 30 minutes from both Sauternes and St. Emilion, and an hour and a half from the Cap Ferret and Arcachon on the coast.

All the bedrooms at Chateau Soussac are spacious and light-filled and have been decorated and furnished to offer guests maximum comfort and a relaxing stay including breakfast.

Each room has two large windows giving wonderful views of the gardens, lake or vineyard. All the rooms are en suite (all with WC’s) and there is a toweling robe and separate towels for the swimming pool for every guest and complimentary bottled water is provided.


The bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture and the light and airy ensuite bathrooms have been newly installed, each with a heated towel rail and every bathroom has its own hot water tank (in the basement) so there is always plenty of hot water. Each bathroom has a large window.
