Alain Ducasse called upon
the services of Patrick Jouin to decorate his restaurant situated in the heart
of the Plaza Athénée. The designer has dreamt up a place that is the very
reflection of modern times, combining the image of Alain Ducasse’s cuisine with
innovation and tradition.
Once through the engraved glass doors, the guests find themselves in a room
boasting truly impressive architecture, notably a recently re-gilded ceiling
reminiscent one of the wealth of the Age of Enlightenment.
The subtlety of the chromatic range created by the designer intensifies the very
poetry of the surroundings, orchestrated by Alain Ducasse, and devoted
completely to the pleasures of the senses.
