Day 1 - June 03, 2004  PARIS

Upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport your will be transferred to your four star deluxe hotel, the Hotel Littré**** located in the heart of St Germain des Pres in Paris. Check in and take advantage of the remainder of the day to get acquainted with the surroundings of the hotel or to rest from the trip. Tonight around 6:00PM you will be invited to a welcome cocktail to meet your escort as well as the other members of the tour . Diner at leisure.

Day 2 - June 04, 2004  PARIS - HONFLEUR - D-DAY BEACHES - BAYEUX

This morning after checking out of the hotel Littré**** we will start our journey to Normandy. Our first stop will be in Honfleur, a charming port, where we will have lunch. After lunch our deluxe coach will take us to the mile and a half long “Pont de Normandy”, an architectural marvel. Leaving Honfleur we will then start our discovery of the landing beaches of D-Day starting with Sword Beach located in the British Sector, followed by the Canadian sector with Juno beach and Gold beach. In Arromanche we will visit the D-Day Museum and when arriving at Omaha Beach, which is where the US troops faced the strongest German forces, we will “walk the dunes” before continuing onto Longue sur Mer where we will see the German Gun Battery. In St Laurent we will pay our respect to the fallen soldiers at the American cemetery and then after going to  the “Pointe du Hoc” our landing beaches of Normandy visit will end at Utah Beach. Upon arriving in the town of Bayeux, which was liberated by the British Infantry on June 7th, 1944, we will check into our hotel. “The Churchill”, conveniently located in the center of town. Day 5 - June 07, 2004  BAYEUX - MONT ST MICHEL

This morning we will check out of the hotel Churchill*** and drive to world Famous, Mont St Michel. On the way we will stop in the typical town of Villedieu les Poeles, the copper city. Once in the Mount St Michel also known as “The Wonder of the World”, we will visit the Abbey perched atop the Rock with an amazing view of the bay. Check into your hotel located inside the Mont St Michel, the Auberge St Pierre***. Take the rest of the afternoon to discover the Mont St Michel on your own or to relax in your hotel room. In the evening dinner will be served in the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant. B, D.

Day 6 - June 08, 2004  MONT ST MICHEL—GIVERNY - PARIS

After B’fast we will board our bus and head back to Paris. On The way we will stop at Giverny, where we will visit the house of Monet and its amazing gardens and the American museum. Lunch at the American museum’s restaurant, and then we will head back to Paris for our last evening in the City of Lights. Check in to the Hotel Littré****. In the evening we will celebrate once again our trip with a farewell dinner in a nearby restaurant. B, L, D.

Day 7 - June 09, 2004   PARIS

After B’fast take advantage of your last moments in the French capital to do your last minute shopping. At a pre-scheduled time, your driver will pick you up in the hotel’s lobby and take you back to the airport for your flight back to the USA.

* Daily programs for June 05 and June 06 2004 will be advised at a later time as the official D-Day ceremonies schedule has not yet been finalized. We will help with special arrangements such as transportations for those tour participants who have a special invitation to an official ceremony and need to attend other events than the ones included in the tour program.
