FROM FROU FROU
TO FEERIE: Forty years of success at the Moulin Rouge ! Since Cancan in
1961, Doris Haug and Ruggero Angeletti have called the tune with the famous
Doriss Girls on the stage of the Moulin Rouge.
CURRENT SHOW:
"Féerie” consists of : a troupe of 100 artists, including the 60 Doriss
Girls that were recruited world-wide ; 1000 costumes of feathers,
rhinestones and sequins and set up in the most famous Parisian workshops ;
sumptuous sets in shimmering colors uniquely designed by Italian artists ;
the best outstanding international acts ; and the awaited return of the
giant Aquarium... |
GASTRONOMY
The tradition of cabaret does not
rest on gastronomy, nonetheless the Chef Laurent TARRIDEC - two stars
awarded and 17/20 in the GaultMillau Guide makes the Table of the Moulin
Rouge become actually delicious.
He came from Brittany, where he is head chef and owner of the restaurant Leu
Mouscardins in Saint-Tropez (on the French Riviera), and he has wanted to
put his talents at the service of the prestigious Moulin Rouge. As he said
"At the Moulin Rouge, every night is a feast. The courses we prepare have to
be as good and beautiful as the scenes, costumes and dancers." Laurent
TARRIDEC is not only a talented adventurer of gastronomy, but he is also a
master chef as demanding with quality and freshness of the produce as with
the presentation. Nights of Gala are for him occasions to create cheerful
and new menus, which blend the most beautiful shellfishes to the most noble
meats and wines.
