This full day tour enjoys a panoramic view of
Vigo from El Castro Mountain, visits one of Vigo's most
beautiful buildings and gardens and also the village of Santiago
de Compostela which is the final destination of the
legendary medieval way of pilgrim ship Camino de Santiago
(Way of Saint James), now considered by Unesco a World Heritage
Site. Until today it attracts visitors from all over the world
thanks to its fantastic monuments. The town is named after the
Apostle Saint James ("Santiago"), who is buried here.
After meeting your driver and private licensed guide at the pier
in Vigo you drive up the Pazo Quiñones de León, one of Vigo's
most beautiful buildings. This 17th century palace was the home
of the marquis of Alcedo and provides insight into life of
Galician nobility. The house is located in Castrelos Park which
includes stunning French-style gardens with 18th century
fountains and ponds. Then you visit the El Castro Mountain which
sits high above the city. From here you enjoy a view of Vigo and
the ships in the bay on a short photo stop. Next you will drive
up to Santiago de Compostela. The visit will start with a
panoramic view of the city. The route will cover the Cathedral
surroundings and would include the monument explanations like
the Kings' Catholic Hostal the Raxoi’s Palace or the School of
San Jeronimo (all of them located in the the Obradoiro’s square
